Hi McVirusS,

It's not just a mailing list :) As an OSFlash User Group, the Dutch OSFlash User Group will eventually be holding local meetings in the Netherlands where community members can meet in person and take part in presentations on Open Source Flash-related subjects, share their knowledge, etc.

Open Source is a grass-roots movement at heart and I wholeheartedly support Folkert's (and others') efforts to set up and run local groups.

So, at least for the Dutch group, the most important thing may not be talking about Flash in Dutch but the value of having a local group that can organize local meetings and help support the Flash community in the Netherlands.

Dutchie present! But I don't really understand the need for this mailinglist. Most Dutch speaking people are also pretty good in reading and writing English :).
