Well, out of pure boredom, I have been thinking about songs for a virtual OSFlash band. I know there are some musicians in the scene, so maybe one day we can do some cool covers by sending each other recorded tracks and mixing them together. I’m on guitars btw. I know Aral would make a great front man and John Grden could play the drums.
Here are some of the songs:
- Enter Sandbox
- Master of Sockets
- Flex ‘m All
- 127.0.0.1, the Number of the Beast
- Scenes From a Memory Leak
- Multi-Threading the Needle
…and we can also cover the MVC song.
A little trivia: Anyone who can find the original song titles and the bands?
Have fun and if you have any cool songs, leave them in the comments ![]()

As is “Enter Sandman” from Metallica (Christophe, you’ve got good taste man, seems like we got stuck in the same era ;-))).
“666, the number of the Beast”… hmm, Iron Maiden?
No clue about the other ones.
You should see my football shirt by the way, I have number 127001 and name “Local Ghost”
By the way: impressing stuff what you’re doing with Prana once again dude, incorporating the IoC… nice! Been watching your blog a few seconds now and then, haven’t really had the time to check out all the stuff you did, but my agenda should allow me to do that next week-end.
I’m holding on to my socks allready… will probably be blown away by your skills again. I’ll let you know once I’ve REALLY checked it out!
Kind regards,
Sven

Lol Sven, that’s a great shirt. You should wear it to a conference! The geekier, the better.
The other songs are Scenes From a Memory (Dream Theater) and Threading the Needle (Soilwork). Dream Theater is definitely worth checking out!
I’m really hooked on the whole IoC concept lately, that’s why I started Prana. Not only to have an IoC container for AS3, but also to learn the underlying details of this concept. There should be some updates in the coming weeks.
Take care and nice to see you are blogging
